AskWebMed is an AI-powered health assistant designed to provide general health-related information content in preparation for healthcare appointments. We also facilitate access to online clinical telehealth services.
The information provided on this platform is not intended to be a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

2. No Medical Advice
The content provided by AskWebMed is for informational purposes only. The platform does not offer medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The AI Health Assistant is not a licensed healthcare provider and is not intended to replace the relationship you have with your healthcare provider.

3. Use of OpenAI API
AskWebMed utilizes the OpenAI API to power its AI Health Assistant. We have no way of accessing or viewing any of your conversations with the AI assistant. By using this platform, you acknowledge that OpenAI’s terms and policies are applicable to your use of the service.
- While AskWebMed does not retain personally identifiable information (PII), any data processed by OpenAI through the use of this platform is subject to their terms and privacy practices. For more information, please review the OpenAI Terms and OpenAI Privacy Policy.
4. Limitation of Liability
Kinvectum AB, its affiliates, and its licensors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of AskWebMed or any content or services made available through the platform.
- The information provided by AskWebMed is offered “as is” without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. While reasonable steps are taken to ensure the security of the platform, absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
5. User Responsibilities
As a user of AskWebMed, you agree to use the platform responsibly and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. You are solely responsible for any actions you take based on the information provided by the platform.
6. Data and Information
Your submission of information through the Services is governed by AskWebMed’s Privacy Policy. By using the Services, you signify your acceptance of the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to this policy, you should not use our services.

We disclaim any responsibility for third-party content, performance, or the privacy practices of affiliate partners.
10. Intellectual Property Rights
All content, features, and functionality on the platform—including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, and software—are the exclusive property of Kinvectum AB and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

11. User Conduct

- Engage in any conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone’s use or enjoyment of the platform.

- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to, interfere with, damage, or disrupt any parts of the platform, the server on which the platform is stored, or any server, computer, or database connected to the platform.
- Use any robot, spider, or other automatic device, process, or means to access the platform for any purpose, including monitoring or copying any of the material on the platform.
12. Termination
We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to terminate or suspend your access to all or part of the platform without notice for any reason, including, without limitation, any violation of these Terms of Use.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
The platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without any warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permissible under applicable law, Kinvectum AB disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, non-infringement, and fitness for a particular purpose.

- We make no representations or warranties regarding the use or the results of the use of the platform in terms of their correctness, accuracy, reliability, or otherwise.
14. No Class Actions or Representative Proceedings
You and AskWebMed waive the right to participate in any class action, class-wide arbitration, or any other representative or consolidated proceeding. Any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis.
15. Modifications to the Terms
Kinvectum AB reserves the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of AskWebMed following the posting of any changes constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
16. Governing Law
These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Sweden, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Stockholm, Sweden.
17. Severability
If any provision of these Terms of Use is held to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court or other tribunal of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be eliminated or limited to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining provisions of the Terms of Use will continue in full force and effect.
18. Entire Agreement
These Terms of Use constitute the entire agreement between you and Kinvectum AB regarding the platform and supersede all prior and contemporaneous understandings, agreements, representations, and warranties, both written and oral, regarding the platform.
